LPW02

Dual Concentric Vocal Wedge

1x 12″ Driver + 1″ Horn – 600 Watts Program

The Acoustic Technologies LPW02 Coaxial Low Profile Stage Monitor provides exceptional vocal and musical presence from an unobtrusive, compact enclosure.

The LPW02 is fitted out with an efficient 600 Watt, 12” bass-mid transducer and a coaxially mounted 1” high frequency compression driver coupled to an 80º horizontal dispersion flare. The high frequency compression driver is treated with Ferro Fluid. The cone of the 12″ speaker features a proprietary surface treatment providing enhanced performance, power handling and protection from moisture and other environmental contaminants.

The coaxial arrangement of the LPW02’s components provides the ideal “point source” audio reproduction, offering superb clarity, presence and intelligibility. The controlled low frequency roll-off contributes enormously toward achieving a clean, clear, stage sound, an important requirement for all live music applications. The ultra-smooth frequency response and tight, controlled high frequency dispersion characteristics maximize the system gain before the onset of acoustic feedback.

The LPW02 Low Profile Stage Monitor is eminently suited for all Stage, Studio, Theatre and Club applications demanding high level, high quality music and vocal monitoring.

The LPW02 enclosure is constructed of high quality 18mm Finnish Birch plywood. The transducers are protected by a rugged expanded steel grille. Acoustically transparent PVC foam is bonded to the mesh, providing a durable, visually appealing finish.
The LPW02 passive crossover provides a seamless transition between the transducers. The crossover frequency is selected to enhance the already superb performance of the individual components. Great care is taken to ensure that a phase coherent output is maintained across the entire audio bandwidth.

Sensitivity, Maximum Power and SPL measurements are conducted in accordance with the AES 24 Hour Pink Noise Standard. Acoustic Technologies reserve the right to alter or amend the LPW02, without prior warning in the interests of product improvement.
