The Acoustic Technologies SB01A Sub Bass Cabinet substantially redefines the size and performance expectations for compact self-powered sub bass enclosures.
The SB01A utilises a high powered 15" transducer specifically designed for sub bass applications. The extended length voice coil and innovative suspension system provides exceptional performance under high level, high excursion signal conditions. This allows the SB01A to provide a full power response to a low 45Hz, free from any colouration or distortion caused by over excursion or cone breakup.
The internal 500 watt RMS amplifier module with attenuable gain and variable Low Pass Filter ensures easy, reliable operation with convenient ‘loop-thru’ XLR connections for 2-way powered system operation. The SB01A comes fitted as standard with ergonomic handgrips, two industry standard pole-mount adaptors and alloy feet. Castor Kits are avilable as an additional option.
The SB01A enclosure is precision crafted from premium grade, void free Finnish Birch ply and is finished in our durable Acousticoate elastomer coating. The transducers are protected by a perforated steel grille lined with acoustically transparent foam.

The SB01A enclosure is constructed of high quality 18mm Finnish Birch Ply. A wide range hardware, grill and cabinet finishing options are available. The transducers are protected by a rugged expanded steel grille. a coustically transparent PVC foam is bonded to the mesh, providing a durable, visually appealing finish.
Sensitivity, Maximum Power and SPL measurements are conducted in accordance with the AES 24 Hour Pink Noise Standard. Acoustic Technologies reserve the right to alter or amend the SB01A, without prior warning in the interests of product improvement.
